The Child Care Payment Program

The Child Care Payment Program (CCPP) is a federally funded program administered by the Division for Early Childhood Care and Development (DECCD) at the Mississippi Department of Human Services (MDHS). The program is designed to provide qualifying parents and guardians with child care tuition assistance. Parents may choose any type of child care while participating in the program.

The CCPP is designed to provide child care assistance to qualifying parents and guardians. The CCPP assists low-income Mississippi families by offering a seamless system of high-quality child care through the Child Care and Development Fund (CCDF) subsidy program.

Child care providers who apply and are accepted as CCPP-approved providers are eligible to have children in the program spend their tuition assistance at their center.
